Micron Announces Massive 1TB c200 microSD Card

Micron is once again returning to the microSD card market with the introduction of the new Micron c200. The Micron c200 will be the world’s first microSD card to sport capacities up to 1TB thanks to Micron’s use of their new 96-layer 3D QLC NAND.

The new microSD card will be rated at up to 100MB/s reads and 95MB/s writes with a class rating of UHS-I Speed Class 3 and A2 (Application Class 2). This will make the c200 an excellent microSD card for 4K content, game consoles, and burst mode photography.

The Micron c200 is currently sampling and will be available in capacities of 128GB to 1TB in Q2 2019. Pricing information is currently unavailable at this time.
