Epic Games is an American video game company based in Cary, North Carolina. Founded by Tim Sweeney in 1991, Epic Games has published some of the most popular games in the world including Fortnite, Infinity Blade, Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, and more.
Epic Games is also the developer for the Unreal Engine, a commercial game engine which is widely used by hundreds of games including some of the very first games to use it, Unreal and Unreal Tournament.
